
The Women’s NCAA Tournament continues Thursday with a pair of First Four games. First, two No. 11 seeds go at it when Columbia takes on Washington to see which will advance to the next round.

Columbia went 23-6 this season and was 13-1 in Ivy League play, but a loss to Harvard in the conference final dropped the team into the First Four instead of guaranteeing it a spot in the main field. Riley Weiss leads the team in scoring at 17.8 points per game while Kitty Henderson leads the Ivy League in assists per game with 4.8.
Washington was 19-13 on the year and 9-9 in the team’s first season in the Big Ten. Elle Ladine’s 17.1 points per game led the team while Sayvia Sellers added 15.2 points. Sellers also averaged 3.8 assists and 1.8 steals per contest.
The winner of this game will advance to play West Virginia in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
