Small Bites Macaroni & Cheese packages are being recalled by C.H. Guenther & Son LLC on Friday due to the possibility the bites contain undeclared egg and meat ingredients.

Millions of Americans experience food allergies or sensitivities every year. According to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the nine “major” food allergens in the U.S. are eggs, milk, fish, wheat, soybeans, Crustacean shellfish, sesame, tree nuts and peanuts.

Customers who have purchased the recalled macaroni and cheese bites and are allergic to eggs run the risk of potentially experiencing serious or life-threatening reactions if they eat the product.

What To Know

The recalled small bites were sold at Whole Foods Market sites across the country. The products were in the frozen foods aisle in the grocery store.

As of Friday, there have been no reported illnesses related to the recall.

The product’s name is: 365 Whole Foods Market Small Bites Macaroni & Cheese. The UPC code number is 99482499709 with a best by date of 11/29/25, the FDA alert says. Customers may have purchased the recalled small bites from February 6, 2025, through March 11, 2025.

The alert notes that the company has implemented measures “to prevent any future occurrences.”

The FDA alert says in part: “The recall was initiated after receiving a consumer complaint that the product contained meat and was not a macaroni and cheese bite. This issue has been corrected and no other manufacturing dates or lots are impacted.”

Customers who have purchased the recalled macaroni and cheese bites may bring a receipt to Whole Foods for a full refund. Consumers are “urged to destroy any remaining product,” the FDA alert says.
