The ‘Stranger Things’ Cast Is All Grown Up

Stranger Things creators Matt and Ross Duffer made headlines on Tuesday, February 10 when they announced that the final season of their beloved Netflix show was “ahead of schedule” in post production.

The combination of the Covid-19 pandemic plus the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes delayed production of seasons 4 and 5 of the sci-fi series, which follows a group of teenagers in Hawkins, Indiana who find themselves embroiled in a dangerous mystery. It’s been almost a decade since the series began shooting in November 2015, and no amount of Hollywood magic could keep the young cast members from growing up.

Millie Bobby Brown

The Enola Holmes star, who plays Eleven (aka “El”) on the show, was born February 19, 2004. She and the rest of “The Party” (Mike, Will, Lucas, Dustin, and Max) will be playing high school freshmen in the final season, unless there is a time jump between seasons 4 and 5.

Finn Wolfhard

Wolfhard, who stars as Mike Wheeler, was born December 23, 2002.

Noah Schnapp

Will Beyers’ actor Noah Schnapp, was born October 3, 2004.

Caleb McLaughlin

McLaughlin plays Lucas Sinclair, and he is the oldest of the original Hawkins AV Club kids. He was born October 13, 2001.

Gaten Mattarazzo

Mattarazzo, who plays Dustin Henderson, was born September 8, 2002.

Sadie Sink

Sink’s character, Max, didn’t join the show’s cast until the second season, but quickly became a core member of the group. The actress was born April 16, 2002.

Natalia Dyer

The actress who portrays Mike’s big sister, Nancy Wheeler, was born January 13, 1995. Her character graduated high school at the end of season 3, as did her two love interests, Jonathan Byers and Steve Harrington.

Charlie Heaton

Charlie Heaton plays Will’s older brother, Jonathan Byers. The actor was born February 6, 1994.

Outside of the show, Heaton and Dyer have been in a relationship publicly since 2017.
