The Kansas City Chiefs are set to enter Super Bowl LIX with a mostly healthy squad. Wide receiver Skyy Moore is the only doubtful player the team has.

Despite the minimal injury report, the Chiefs have made some important roster changes to help their chances.

Ian Rapoport revealed the Chiefs have elevated two players from their practice squad in preparation for Super Bowl LIX.

Linebacker Swayze Bozeman and cornerback Steven Nelson have both been elevated from the practice squad for the big game.

Adding some defensive backup is never a bad idea. As it stands, the Chiefs currently have linebacker Jack Cochrane on IR. The additions of both Bozeman and Nelson could be for special teams, or to serve as rotational pieces should injuries occur.

As stated, the Chiefs are coming into the game with a relatively minimal injury report. Patrick Mahomes, Jawaan Taylor, and Matt Araiza popped up on the injury, but all three have since been upgraded to full participants.

Moore is the only player that may not be able to suit up for the Super Bowl. He was recently activated off IR due to a significant core injury but has yet to make it back.

Mahomes is dealing with an ankle injury he sustained in Week 16, Taylor has a knee ailment, and Araiza is dealing with a sickness. Neither three were in danger of missing the game.

The Eagles are the far more injured team, as their injury report showcased multiple players that are questionable, including Brandon Graham, Dallas Goedert, and C.J. Uzomah.

Philadelphia could find themselves in a tough position on the tight-end side of things should Goedert and Uzomah be ruled out.

Super Bowl LIX is set to be an exciting showdown, as the Chiefs and Eagles have outlasted their opponents to make it to the big show. The Chiefs continue to find ways to win, even though most of their games could have changed with one score

The Eagles have Saquon Barkley now, who proved he was the biggest get this offseason. Barkley secured 2,005 rushing yards in the regular season and is nearly at 450 through the playoffs.

Barkley could literally and figuratively run away with the game if the Chiefs don’t do what they can to silence his strong rushing attack.

Either way, the Chiefs have made some moves to ensure they have everything they need to secure the first-ever three-peat in NFL history.
