NASCAR Legend Dale Earnhardt Jr. Announces Huge Media Changes For 2025

NASCAR legend Dale Earnhardt Jr. has announced major changes to Dirty Mo Media’s popular podcast, “Door, Bumper, Clear” (DBC), for the 2025 season.

Founded by Earnhardt Jr., Dirty Mo Media has become a leading platform in motorsports content, known for its unfiltered commentary and behind-the-scenes insights.

Since its inception in 2016, “Door, Bumper, Clear” has been a flagship podcast for Dirty Mo Media.

Known for its comedic and candid discussions about race recaps, rumors, and debates within NASCAR, the podcast has gained a strong fan base.

Originally hosted by veteran spotters Brett Griffin, T.J. Majors, and Freddie Kraft, along with industry insider Casey Boat, the show became renowned for the dynamic banter and chemistry among the hosts.

Earnhardt Jr. recently announced that Freddie Kraft will continue as the host of DBC. He will be joined by new co-hosts Tommy Baldwin, a former NASCAR Cup Series crew chief and current Modified team owner, and Karsyn Elledge, Earnhardt Jr.’s niece.

Dale Jr. shared his excitement about the new direction, assuring fans that while changes are coming, the show will retain the unique essence familiar to its audience. He explained during an episode of the “Dale Jr Download” podcast:

“Freddie Kraft is going to continue to host the show, and it’s being shaped in a new direction. Albeit, I think it will still be similar to the thread DBC has lived in all these years. Freddie had the bright idea to bring on Tommy Baldwin.

“Tommy is very outspoken, no holds barred tells it like it is and he and Freddie are very close friends… And you know Tommy very honest, opinionated pretty straightforward guy… It’s gonna be fun to hear.

“And Karsyn stepped in a couple of times over the past year as a bit of a referee, if you will, and she doesn’t get pushed around, which I think is cool and so I kind of like what I’ve seen from her over the past.”

The announcement comes along with other changes at Dirty Mo Media. Brett Griffin, who has been a spotter for Bubba Wallace, and T.J. Majors, who worked with Brad Keselowski, will not be returning for the 2025 season.

While Griffin and Majors’ departure marks the end of an era, Majors will remain in the Dirty Mo Media family by joining another podcast, “The Dale Jr. Download.”

Additionally, Mike Davis, the co-founder and former co-host of “The Dale Jr. Download,” is stepping back from his hosting duties to focus on his executive role at the company.

Speaking about the changes, Davis explained:

“I was starting to hold a bit of a grudge. Not at anybody in particular, but just at the situation.

“I wasn’t able to really kind of put my efforts energy and thoughts into the company. Starting new shows, doing those things, and still doing the Download… the Download was a commitment.”
