Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene issued a weather warning ahead of the certification of Donald Trump‘s election victory, citing the winter storm about to hit Washington D.C.

In a post on X, formerly Twitter, Greene stated, “Washington has a winter storm warning for Jan 5-7th expecting possibly a foot of snow.”

She said some of her colleagues had left the city because of the storm, but she pledged to walk to the Capitol if necessary for the congressional certification of Trump’s election, which is due to happen on Monday.
