The Pokémon Company has announced that it will be holding a Pokémon Presents livestream next week on Pokémon Day.
Pokémon Day, an anniversary celebration of the release of Pokémon Red and Green in Japan, takes place on February 27 every year, and is usually accompanied by a celebratory stream of some kind either on or near the day. These streams typically show off new things coming to the world of Pokémon, including updates to mobile games, the latest news on upcoming console games, and details related to the Pokémon anime, TCG, and more.

Pokémon Day: Pokémon Presents How to Watch
The Pokémon Day 2025 edition of Pokémon Presents will be available on the official The Pokémon Company YouTube channel, and likely on the official Pokémon Twitch channel. No English stream link has been made available yet.
If past Pokémon Presents presentations are anything to go by, the stream will likely run for 10-25 minutes, and will cover a wide range of topics related to Pokémon. Last year’s Pokémon Day livestream announced new raid events for Pokémon Scarlet & Violet and Pokémon Go, and new events in Pokémon Unite, Sleep, Masters EX, and Cafe ReMix. It also revealed two new games: Pokémon Trading Card Pocket, which was released late last year, and Pokémon Legends: Z-A, which has yet to be released or receive any new information.
It’s expected that this year’s presentation will feature new information on Pokémon Legends: Z-A, which is set to be released at some point in 2025 for the Nintendo Switch. Rumors have suggested the game might be enhanced for Nintendo Switch 2, which is also set to be released this year, but Nintendo has only said that the game is coming to Nintendo Switch at this stage.
