Timeless Toni Storm Makes Triumphant AEW Return

Toni Storm was one of the most exciting and dominant professional wrestlers of 2024, winning the AEW Women’s World Championship for a third time under her “Timeless” Toni Storm persona.

However, her title reign came to an end when her protege, Mariah May, turned on her and defeated her in bloody fashion at All In on Aug. 25, 2024.

After taking a hiatus, Storm returned and had seemingly regressed to her original gimmick and a rookie mentality.

Now, it seems that Storm is Timeless once again.

On AEW Collision: Homecoming, Storm and May were scheduled to meet up in the ring, the first time the duo had been in the same room together since Storm was betrayed.

After Storm declared that she was May’s biggest fan, May attacked her former friend and proceeded to beat her with the title belt.

However, when May was making her way back up the ramp, Storm had some words to share with the current champion.

“What makes you think that I’ve forgotten?” Storm asked. “What makes you think our dance is done? Each scar, every drop of blood, I will feel forever. But now, it’s my moment in the sun.”

“They say the hardest role you will ever play is yourself. But what you’ve just witnessed is the performance of a lifetime!”

“Mariah May, you may be the woman from hell, but you came from my womb, and I will shove you back up there and spit you out. For I am Timeless, TIMELESS, Timeless Toni Storm, and I’m gonna rip your t— off!”

Storm began her professional wrestling career in 2009, participating in multiple independent promotions around the world.

From 2015-2018, Storm was a major part of Progress Wrestling and World Wonder Ring Stardom.

In 2017, Storm participated in the Mae Young Classic before becoming part of NXT in 2018. She remained with WWE until 2021, winning the NXT UK Women’s Championship once and won the Mae Young Classic in 2018.

After successfully requesting her release from WWE, Storm went to AEW where she became a three-time AEW Women’s World Champion. In 2024, she was ranked No. 1 in the PWI Women’s 250 and was named Woman of the Year in Pro Wrestling Illustrated.
