The U.S. Women’s National Team is back in action on Wednesday, facing off against longtime rival Canada in an international friendly.

The USWNT will look to extend its four-game winning streak tonight when it takes the field tonight. Since May 31, the team has wins over China, Jamaica, and twice against Ireland by a combined score of 15-0.

Last time out against Ireland, the United States secured a 4-0 victory. Lynn Biyendolo opened the scoring early in the 11th minute, while Izzy Rodriguez made it 2-0 just before halftime. The USWNT came out firing in the second half as Yazmeen Ryan scored in the 66th minute, then Alyssa Thompson capped things off in the 86th minute with the team’s fourth goal.

The United States had 25 shots to just three from Ireland and had a 10-0 advantage over Ireland in shots on target. It was a master class for the USWNT.

Canada is also looking to extend their winning streak after winning three in a row, beating Haiti twice in that span, with a 4-1 win and a 3-1 win. The team defeated Costa Rica 4-1 in its most recent friendly.

These two sides last met in April 2024 in the SheBelieves Cup final. After drawing 2-2, the game went to penalties. The USWNT took the penalties 5-4, capped off by a make from Emily Fox.
