Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear told residents in the state to “stay alert” on Friday morning as the National Weather Service (NWS) issued a number of tornado warnings.
“There is severe weather currently moving through Kentucky that is producing tornado warnings. Please stay alert this morning and check the weather before traveling,” Beshear posted to X.
At the time of writing, the NWS had issued tornado warnings early in the morning for the following areas in Kentucky: Munfordville, Pike View, Canmer, Lebanon, Raywick, Calvary, Larue County, Marion County, Taylor County, Perryville, Nevada, Nicholasville, Wilmore, and Burgin.
