The Utah Mammoth (formerly known as the Utah Hockey Club) has officially released licensed NHL gear for the first time since unveiling their new team name and logo just a week ago, which you can order here.

The “Utah Hockey Club” joined the NHL as an expansion team at the beginning of the 2024-25 season. They planned to rebrand prior to their second NHL season, and that is exactly what they have done.

Now known as the Mammoth, Utah will enter next season with one of the most popular team names and logos. They went through four rounds of community surveying and voting before finally settling on the name. In addition to considering the fans’ preferences, the franchise also knocked the logo out of the park.

The logo represents the city, as mammoths used to live in Utah during the last ice age. The top of the mammoth’s head in the logo turns into mountains, making this a unique design with major ties to the community.
