IndyCar kicks off a big month in Indianapolis with the Sonsio Grand Prix on Saturday afternoon.

Later this month, 33 cars will take to the oval track at Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the Indianapolis 500, but the month of action at the track gets going on Saturday with the Sonsio Grand Prix, a race on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway’s road course layout.

Alex Palou is on the pole for this race and will be joined on the front row by Graham Rahal. We have a surprise in third place, as Louis Foster had a strong qualifying run. The rookie has struggled this season, with just one finish inside the top 20.

Palou, meanwhile, has been dominant, winning three of the first four races this season. Can the defending champion grab his fourth win of the season? It wouldn’t be a shock as he also won this race from the pole last season, one of two wins at this track for Palou.

Scott McLaughlin, Devlin DeFrancesco, Josef Newgarden, Will Power, Pato O’Ward, Alexander Rossi, and Kyffin Simpson round out the top 10. Rossi has a win here in 2022. Scott Dixon, who has won on the Indianapolis road course twice, starts back in 16th.
