Texas took the hard way to get to the quarterfinals after logging two wins in two days and needed double overtime to take down Texas A&M 94-89 in Thursday’s matchup. The Longhorns may be dealing with some tired legs after yesterday’s game, but they have shown no signs of backing down in this tournament.
Meanwhile, Tennessee picked up the double-bye and will play their first game of the tournament this afternoon. The No. 8 team in the nation is looking to make a deep run and a second SEC Tournament title under coach Rick Barnes.
Will the Vols’ fresh legs be the difference in this game, or will Texas keep up their Cinderella vibes and advance to the semifinals? Tune in and find out.
