We’re just 211 days away from the most epic showdown in golf – the Ryder Cup 2025. But the anticipation is already palpable. And we are not just talking about golf fans but golf professionals as well.
That was on display during a sneak peek into the intensity that US Ryder Cup captain Keegan Bradley is bringing.
The clip, from the the 7th most-watched Netflix series in the US – Full Swing, captured Bradley’s raw emotion after last fall’s Presidents Cup victory.
As the room boomed with cheered, Bradley declares, “I’m going to get criticized as captain next year. They’re going to underestimate me. They’re going to doubt me. I’ve been doubted my whole f—ing life. That’s when I do my best work.”
“We’re going to go to Bethpage to kick their f—ing a–!”

It is clear that Bradley’s been fueled by his omission from the 2023 Ryder Cup team. And his passion for the 2025 showdown is contagious, but not everyone’s buying into the hype.
Take Shane Lowry, for instance. When asked about Bradley’s fiery comments, the Irishman seemed unimpressed. In fact, he smirked as he sent a 6-word blunt reaction when asked if he heard what Bradley said.
“Oh yeah, we’ve all seen it!” referring to the whole European Ryder Cup team.

During his appearance on Golf Channel’s Golf Today, Lowry downplayed Bradley’s Bethpage comment, saying, “Look, they’re going to be fired up to beat us. Keegan’s going to be a great captain, and we’re not underestimating him.”
Lowry continued, “I’m sure Luke Donald will prepare the European team to the best of his abilities, and we’ll give it our all when the time comes.”
But that’s not all, though. Francesco Molinari, a seasoned European team veteran and vice-captain in Rome, chimed in, “It’s not a big deal. These things happen all the time. I understand why Keegan said what he did β we all want to win.”
Does that hint that its not only the US Ryder Cup captain motivating the team with cuss words? Well, we might not be able to answer that, but one thing is for sure, the tension is already peaking, and the stage is set for an epic showdown.
