A girl’s adorable voice message for her dad as he waited at the altar, moments before tying the knot, has left the internet in tears.
The heart-melting footage was shared by the wedding videographer that day, @jolvideography, who captured the memorable moment. The clip was posted on TikTok (@jolvideography) in January and has since gone viral with a staggering 104.9 million views and 15.7 million likes at the time of writing.
As the groom stood nervously at the altar facing away from the aisle, he thought his bride-to-be would be making her grand entrance any moment. However, there was a big surprise in store for him.
Before his fiancé walked down the aisle, their young daughter recorded a voice message for everyone to hear. Needless to say, there wasn’t a dry eye left in the venue, including the groom.

During the message to her dad, Evie said: “I’m walking down the aisle and will see you now, because you’re going to marry my mummy, and she looks beautiful, like me. We love you so, so much, to the moon and back.”
At the end of her recording, Evie signed off in typical toddler style with: “See you, don’t want to be you. See you alligator.”
Following his initial tears, Evie’s final words left the groom with a smile on his face and laughing out loud instead. She certainly put him through all the emotions with her sweet message.
Alongside the clip, the caption reads: “The groom’s daughter leaves him a beautiful message before she and her mummy walk down the aisle.”
Newsweek contacted @jolvideography via TikTok for comment.
As it turns out, it wasn’t just the groom crying after hearing Evie’s message, as social media users were also left fighting back tears.
Thousands of internet users hailed the adorable idea, which will undoubtedly live long in the memory. This has led to more than 41,300 comments on the viral TikTok post already. Many even suggested the parents should keep the voice recording and play it at Evie’s wedding some day in the future.
One comment reads: “This sounds straight from a movie scene.”
Another TikTok user wrote: “Not me crying over someone else’s wedding and daughter speech.”
Another person joked: “The wife wasn’t taking no chances, she made sure that man would cry when she walked down the aisle.”
“I want to be THIS rich in life,” suggested one commenter.
While one TikTok user added: “That would ruin me.”
