A woman has shared her rude awakening after looking back at photos she took before a night out.

Izzi Cavotta (@izzicavotta) explained that she and her friend were preparing for a New Year’s Eve drink. Dressed up and looking good, they saw it as the perfect opportunity for a photoshoot. However, the results were far from what they had envisioned. The grand reveal of their photo mishap garnered 25,600 likes and 750,900 views.

“So you’re taking these pictures, you haven’t looked at them yet, and you’re thinking to yourself, wow, I was eating. I’m eating these pictures. I can feel it in my bones. I’m serving. I know it. I know that I am.

And you turn the camera around, and this is the face that you are met with,” she said before showing the audience the result.

The shot features the two women captured from a high angle. They had attempted to use the back camera flash to produce a well-lit photo since it was night time, but the outcome was less than ideal. Izzi’s forehead was cropped out, and half of her friend’s face was missing from the frame.
