According to a recent report from Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, AEW Superstar Bear Boulder, real name Thomas Wansaw, has been released by the company after he was charged with battery by strangulation.

Wansaw was arrested on Jan. 13, 2025. The victim has been identified as his fiancée.

There was a hearing on Jan. 27. A no contact order was granted.

Wansaw was a member of the Iron Savages alongside and Jacked Jameson.

The last time he appeared on AEW television was on the Jan. 16 episode of Ring of Honor. The episode was taped on Jan. 11.
