F1 Champion Brand Joins NASCAR As Justin Marks and Pitbull Strike Gold

Justin Marks and Pitbull have struck a groundbreaking deal in NASCAR, securing a sponsorship with Red Bull for their team, Trackhouse Racing.

Since its inception in 2020, Trackhouse Racing has been known for its innovative approach, including Project 91, which aims to bring international racing talent to NASCAR.

By partnering with Red Bull, a well-known brand in the motorsports industry, the team is readying to increase its visibility and outreach significantly. The deal sees Red Bull’s return to NASCAR, a field they stepped away from over a decade ago.

Trackhouse Racing, founded by Justin Marks and Grammy Award-winning artist Pitbull, who joined as a co-owner in 2021, quickly became a strong presence in NASCAR.

Marks, a former racing driver himself, leveraged his extensive experience to shape a team that’s changing how NASCAR engages with fans worldwide. Pitbull’s involvement added star power and helped draw a global audience.

Red Bull, known for its success across motorsports – F1 being a personal favorite – decided to collaborate with Trackhouse Racing to sponsor their team at five events. Shane van Gisbergen, a successful driver with Red Bull support since 2016, will sport Red Bull branding on his NASCAR machinery.

Van Gisbergen, known as a three-time Supercars champion, made an impressive NASCAR debut winning the Chicago Street Race in 2023. Conor Zilisch, an emerging talent at just 18 years old, will make his Cup Series debut at the Circuit of the Americas under the Red Bull sponsorship.

For Justin Marks, the partnership represents a momentous occasion.

“This is bigger than Trackhouse, this is bigger than Red Bull alone. This is just a big moment for the sport of NASCAR. I mean, you know, it’s influential and it’s a big moment for all of us,” he said, reported by SiriusXM NASCAR Radio via FirstSportz.

Marks sees this as more than just a deal for Trackhouse and Red Bull; as he pointed out, the strength of this deal extends to the NASCAR community as a whole.

“For the fans, the teams, the media partners, for everybody, that Red Bull has made the commitment to dive back in because I think everybody knows, you know, they don’t do anything small.”

Red Bull’s return to NASCAR with this deal is a huge comeback since their previous venture ended in 2011. In those years, their NASCAR team managed to secure two wins in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. Now, their stepped-back involvement signals a renewed commitment.

Justin Marks conveyed excitement about the partnership’s capacity to grow Trackhouse’s reach and craft new, unique motorsport stories on Red Bull’s platform.

“When it comes to brands that activate in motorsports globally, there’s just nobody bigger, more influential than Red Bull,” Marks said. “They recognize where there’s opportunities in all forms of motorsports to tell a really unique story.”

Marks continued, focussing on Red Bull’s admiration for Trackhouse Racing’s creativity and the risks they’ve taken.

“Find partnerships that reflect their passion for motorsports, their creativity, their willingness to take risks. You know, all of us at Trackhouse are really thrilled and honored that they saw those attributes in the partnership with us.”

This shared vision and philosophy set the groundwork for what could be a transformative partnership for both Trackhouse and NASCAR.
