Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has been the source of some controversy among NFL fans due to the prevalence of penalties called in favor of the three-time Super Bowl MVP.
These complaints reached their peak when Mahomes was barely touched in a tackle, but it was deemed “roughing the passer” by the referees.

This singular moment has received comments from all kinds of NFL fans and experts, including Hall of Famer and commentator Troy Aikman.

During a recent interview with Chris Van Vliet, the Kansas City local admitted that Mahomes was getting the “Tom Brady treatment,” but he also said that people need to get over it.
“Born and raised Chiefs fan. We deserve our three-peat,” Pestock said. “Don’t touch Mahomes if you don’t want the penalty. Stop crying about it. You touch his head in any way or shape, if you put a gust of wind on his head, you’re getting a penalty.”
“We’re making the Patriots run,” he continued. “We’re gonna go three-peat and then there’s gonna be, like, ‘Is there talk of four?’ Let’s go.”

The Chiefs are certainly the favorites heading into the AFC Conference Championship due to holding a 15-1 record heading into the playoffs and having won the Super Bowl the past two years.
As per usual, Mahomes is a major reason for the team’s success. In the regular season, he has recorded 392 completions for 3,928 yards and 26 touchdowns.
While these stats are good, they aren’t as impressive as the previous season from Mahomes. That being said, he has still been excellent in high-pressure situations.

Pestock is also a person who understands performing under pressure. While he never reached Mahomes levels of success in the WWE, he was always a reliable performer who could turn in a good match.
After spending 2009-2011 in the NFL with the Indianapolis Colts and Arizona Cardinals, Pestock made his NXT debut as Baron Corbin on Oct. 18, 2012.
Corbin would go on to become a reliable character, taking on multiple gimmicks and making them work as best he could.
During his WWE tenure, Pestock took home the United States Championship and the NXT Tag Team Championship with Bron Breakker. He also won King of the Ring in 2019, Men’s Money in the Bank in 2017, and the André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal in 2016.
