Emma Roberts has impressed the internet with her Baltimore Orioles Jackson Holliday trading card—but some think it’s “rigged.”
The actor, known for her roles in TV shows like Scream Queens and American Horror Story, is passionate about collecting baseball cards and she recently added the incredibly rare card of the second baseman to her collection.
Newsweek emailed spokespeople for Roberts and Topps, the trading card company, for comment on Friday outside of normal business hours.
Why It Matters
Roberts took to Instagram this week to share her prized card with her millions of followers. The card, a limited-edition autographed rookie featuring Jackson Holliday—one of Major League Baseball’s most promising young talents—has already been hailed as a treasure among collectors.
Holliday, son of seven-time All-Star Matt Holliday, has been making waves in the MLB. As a key player for the Baltimore Orioles, he’s drawn comparisons to legendary shortstops thanks to his athleticism and clutch performances.
