Alpha Prime Racing Co-Owner Confirms Seat for 2025 NASCAR Xfinity Series

Co-owner of Alpha Prime Racing, Caesar Bacarella, has confirmed he will take the driver’s seat once again for the 2025 season-opening NASCAR Xfinity Series event at the Daytona International Speedway.

Bacarella is readying up to drive the No. 45 Prime Bites Mini Muffins / TikTok Shop Chevrolet, marking his return with Alpha Prime Racing’s third car in the competitive racing league.

Bacarella, a former NASCAR driver from Parkland, Florida, has been part of the NASCAR Xfinity Series since 2017, primarily focusing on superspeedway tracks where he has shown impressive performances. Although his racing career has been mostly part-time, Bacarella has earned three top-10 finishes.

In the 2024 series, Bacarella successfully qualified for three out of four attempts, finishing in the top-10 twice: a seventh place at Talladega Superspeedway in April, and securing ninth position at Michigan International Speedway in August. His career-best finish, a sixth place, was seen at Talladega Superspeedway in April 2023 in the No. 43 Alpha Prime Racing car.

Alpha Prime Racing was created after rebranding Martins Motorsports in 2022, co-owned by Tommy Joe Martins and Caesar Bacarella. The rebranding ushered in Alpha Prime Racing’s entry into the Xfinity Series with ambitions to expand. Bacarella’s dual role as both a driver and co-owner has been instrumental in the team’s progress. This year, he will join teammates Brennan Poole, who is returning to drive the No. 44 Chevrolet, and Parker Retzlaff, a new addition to the team who will race in the renumbered No. 4 Chevrolet.

The 2025 NASCAR Xfinity Series is slated to begin on Saturday, February 15th, with the event at Daytona International Speedway marking the start of a new season and Bacarella’s eagerly awaited return to driving. Fans can catch the live action on The CW network, promising comprehensive coverage of this exciting start to the racing calendar.

Beyond his racing career, Bacarella is also navigating a legal battle with Prime Hydration, a company founded by internet personalities KSI and Logan Paul. Bacarella’s lawsuit alleges trademark infringement, claiming that Prime Hydration’s products are misleadingly similar to those of his own supplement company, Alpha Prime.
